Carpenter's Robin Hood gamebooks are truly a masterpiece!!

Not only do they fully capture the heroic/oniric/pagan atmosphere of the TV series (also amazing), but the two books are sustained by excellent game mechanics (so easy, yet detailed, that I remember I used them for a small RPG campaign too) and superb plots!

It seems likely the plots of these books were taken from non-shot episodes of the TV series.

It's really a pity that only two books were published in this series, surely with more books Robin Hood should have become a classic, like Lone Wolf or Fighting Fantasy.
