This series of board games features numbered cards for story text, to build up location panoramas with points of interest, as well as for player status and inventory. Certain cards, such as actions and items, have holes cut into the sides or faces, and are can be placed on the backs of cards representing interactive points of interest to combine the two and show text describing the result and consequences. In this way the series simulates PC point-and-click games.
