To put it briefly, "yet another forgettable New Adventures novel." While the characterizations of the protagonists were a bit less abrasive than usual this time around, and the story featured some interesting variations on the "pod people" theme, it didn't come together well enough to leave a lasting impression, and as usual, it didn't really feel like Doctor Who in the process. |
