| R-Alex-J's Thoughts: |
Good puzzles and storyline. I have to wonder how the player character's grandmother predicted the future accurately enough to know when enemies are coming. Is she a Time Lord? Wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey? To be honest, there's a problem with the puzzle system in addition to the one that I mentioned in my review for the whole series. In some maze puzzles, you're asked how many times you passed certain objects; barrels in this book. The problem is that the barrels are close together, so it's sometimes unclear whether one that is close to your path is one that you should count. The story is about a young sailor who aims to find items needed to save their father's life. You'll meet the usual seagoing hazards such as pirates, monsters, and storms. As always, the puzzles make this series stand out, so I highly recommend it to everyone. |
