This series is, in a way, an offshoot of the Adventures of You Series and thus a sibling to Choose Your Own Adventure. A few years after Archway released a paperback edition of the first Adventures of You book, they introduced this series, a collection of simple branching-plot books. The books cover a variety of genres and are distinguished mainly by their often very brief text passages between choices. A couple of titles further distinguished themselves by featuring puzzles that made them slightly more game-oriented than the rest of the books. The series eventually ended up containing yet another reprint of that first Adventures of You title, and it was ultimately successful enough to acquire a license to include Star Trek adventures and to spawn several spin-offs (the Follow Your Heart Romances, the Play-It-Your-Way Sports Books, the Super Powers Which Way Books featuring DC superheroes, and the Which Way Secret Door Books for younger readers). Some (but not all) volumes were reprinted in England by Carousel.
