Guillermo's Thoughts:

With this book, Pedro Montero has thankfully abandoned his penchant for adapting Jules Verne novels, and brings back the protagonists from Los viajeros del tiempo. Soy invisible is a book with serious flaws, but it also has its strengths. The writing is quite cheesy and the humor falls flat most of the time. A few of the storylines are also fairly dull and uninspired. Finally, gameplay feels lacking since a lot of the choices are about what you think will happen next rather than what you want to do. While other series (such as Plot-Your-Own Horror Stories) have managed to do this sort of thing quite well, in this book the mechanic only serves to add predictability to the story.

On the other hand, many of the storylines are quite entertaining, a fact that makes up for the book's flaws. Overall, this book is not quite as good as Los viajeros del tiempo, but it is an improvement over El secreto de la isla misteriosa. I can only hope that the author's remaining entries in the series improve even more.
